Updates from the Exiles….

Exiled Theatre Representing at the Boston Theatre Marathon!

May 12, 2026

The team at Exiled Theatre is counting down the days until we get to share our summer production with Boston audiences. In the meantime, you can get a taste of what our fabulous ensemble members are capable of at this year’s the Boston Theatre Marathon.

The Marathon is a yearly event, sponsored by Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, where fifty 10-min plays are performed over the course of a single day. It’s a wonderful event where the entire Boston theatre community comes together and all of the money raised from ticket sales goes to the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund.

The Marathon is happening on May 3rd (That’s tomorrow!). Take a look at this year’s lineup and you’ll see us popping up in all sorts of places.

Exiled Theatre’s sponsored play is “Synergy” by James McLindon directed by ensemble member Morganna Becker. The piece is performed as part of the 11am-1pm block.

Then, in the 1pm-3pm block, ensemble member James Wilkinson is directing John Shanahan’s “Broken Wing” for Titanic Theatre company.

Not to be outdone, our friend Joe Juknievich, who will be directing our production of M: Refractions from an Evil Act this summer, is representing Entropy Theatre in the 8pm-10 block. He’s directing “Bar None” by Grand MacDermott.

Want to see these fabulous pieces in action? Information on tickets and more is available on the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre website. There will be a livestream option to view the marathon so if you can’t be there in person you can still support this great cause and join in on the fun!
