About the Play:
Three damned souls are led to a hideous room somewhere in hell, left on their own for all eternity. The doors are locked; the windows are bricked up; there are no mirrors and the lights are never turned off. Under the unblinking, penetrating gaze of their fellow lodgers, each begins to realize that a far worse fate than the rack or thumb screws awaits them. Layer by layer, each is stripped of his humanity as the true nature of hell is revealed.
